QuiltCon 2025 - Phoenix Zoo

We left the Grand Canyon and travelled down to the main event - QuiltCon. Day 5 was largely a travel day, but we did make it to the Phoenix Zoo briefly before checking in at QuiltCon. I should also add here that we ate at a place called Raisin’ Canes that night. It was delicious! Very similar to a Zaxby’s if you have that in your area. I love Zaxby’s, too.

The macaw was gorgeous and he wasn’t in a typical “cage” so there were unobstructed views of him!

We loved the Zoo so much that we went back another day! I loved how many of the “big cats” they had: tiger, jaguar, cheetah, leopard, and lions. Those little lion cubs on the rock were about 7 months old.
